Description
Dungs High Gas Pressure Safety Switch, 12…60inWC. Designed to de energize the main gas safety valves in the event of unusual high pressure. Normally set to 20% above incoming gas pressure but can be set higher or lower. MUST be set below the minimum pressure of the lowest rated component in the gas train. This is usually taken from the zero gas regulators (2psi) and set for safety to 1psi or 30 inWC.

Function
8.9* Fuel Press Switches (Gas or Oil)
8.9.1 A low fuel pressure switch or sensor shall be provided and shall be interlocked into the burner management system
8.9.2 A high fuel pressure switch or sensor shall be provided and shall me the following criteria:
(1) It shall be interlocked into the burner management system
(2) It shall be located downstream of the final pressure-reducing regulator
8.9.3 Pressure switch or sensor settings shall be made in accordance with the operating limits of the burner system
